Alster Bio
Bob
has been performing
in Breckenridge, Keystone, and Copper Mtn for
over 25 years. He first arrived in Breckenridge in 1978
and fast became one of the favorite local guitarists on the local
music scene. He booked the entertainers and also performed
at the “Village Pub” in Breckenridge where the Main Street
Station now stands. He spent 5 years in the 1980’s as the house
and only musician performing nightly at the Vail Holiday Inn as well
as Frisco’s Holiday Inn. Favorite places to play in Keystone
in those days included the Snake River Saloon, Bentleys, and the
Navigator Restaurant by the Keystone Lake. He has added classical
jazz finger style guitar to his performances, which is excellent
for background dining music. Copper Mtn’s Tuso’s
bar was a hot spot also in those days.
In 1982 Bob was asked to perform for corporate events in Keystone Resort
and Alster Entertainment as a music booking agency was born. He
celebrates his 25th year in the business providing live music and entertainment
to the resorts of Summit County which of course includes Keystone, Copper
Mtn and Breckenridge.
Bob’s memorized music pieces. (Many more hours
of music available when he carries
a music stand with him.)
